Toys for Tots: Bringing the Joy of Giving To Less Fortunate Children
2019 Toys for Tots for PSCDC Properties Across California
It's almost that time of the year again! Since the beginning of October this year, the Marine Toys for Tots organization has been organizing local campaigns nationwide to give out toys for children on Christmas around the nation! Started in 1947, the massive toy drive and give away organization has distributed over 556 million toys and supported over 258 million children! This year, dedicated United States Marines and local volunteers look to spread the joy of giving once again.
Toys for Tots have been working closely with PSCDC to bring holiday joy to our families in our San Diego, Imperial Valley, Orange, Sacramento and Alameda County properties. In previous years, our families loved receiving the new toys and the little ones loved the surprise of unwrapping them! We believe that everyone, especially young ones, deserves to experience that magical feeling of receiving a gift during the holidays regardless of financial circumstances, race, or religion. For this giving season, PSCDC and Toys for Tots humbly ask you to help us spread hope and the holiday spirit to children nationwide.
Important dates to know:
San Diego County:
• Campaign begins accepting toys: 14 November 2019
• Campaign stops accepting toys and donations: 9 December 2019
• Last day of toy distributions: 16 December 2019
• Toys collected after 9 December 2019 will go to next year's campaign
Orange County:
• Campaign begins accepting toys: 1 October 2019
• Campaign stops accepting toys and donations: 15 December 2019
• Last day of toy distributions: 15 December 2019
• Toys collected after 15 December 2019 will go to next year's campaign
Sacramento County:
• Campaign accepting toys: 1 October 2019
• Campaign stops accepting toys and donations: 15 December 2019
• Last day of toy distributions: 22 December 2019
• Toys collected after 15 December 2019 will go to next year's campaign
