Lunar New Year Celebration

February was filled with celebrations for our youth in our after-school program. During the first week, we focused on New Year's crafts and the important of New Year resolutions. Then, in preparation for the year of the Dog, the children prepared for their traditional Lunar New Year's celebration. The children participated by creating crafts such as lanterns, paintings, and dragons.

PSCDC staff Ngoc and Arlin volunteered at the annual Lunar New Year Event at the Leasing Office. This event consisted of family fun, lion dances, and prizes such as fresh blossoms! Lunar New Year remains one of the most important celebrations in Asian cultures, and PSCDC staff is glad to be able to volunteer at this event each year.
